The Tier 1 Hockey Federation continues to make its mark nationally — with more than 40 THF teams ranked inside the Top 50 of their respective age groups in the January 7 MyHockeyRankings update.

From 11U through 18U, THF programs once again demonstrated depth, competitive balance, and consistent performance against top competition across the country.


18U — Six Teams in the Top 50

The New Jersey Rockets led the way at No. 6, followed by strong showings from Mount St. Charles (23), Team Maryland (28), Jersey Hitmen (33), Mercer Chiefs (40) and Flyers Elite–BBNA (44).


16U — Seven Teams Ranked

The Woodbridge Wolfpack climbed to No. 4, while Seacoast Performance Academy (11) and Mount St. Charles (12) also placed highly. New Jersey Rockets (16), PAL Jr. Islanders (25), Black Bear Academy (40), Pittsburgh Stars (47) and New Jersey Hitmen (43) rounded out a deep Top-50 group.


15U — Depth Across the Division

Eight THF teams earned Top-50 recognition, highlighted by Woodbridge Wolfpack (3) and Mount St. Charles (10). Other ranked programs include New Jersey Rockets (19), Notre Dame Hockey Academy (24), Pittsburgh Stars (32), Black Bear Academy (36), PAL Jr. Islanders (47) and Westchester Express (49).


14U — Five Teams Among the Nation’s Best

Mount St. Charles landed at No. 5, joined by Woodbridge Wolfpack (15), Palmyra Black Knights (17), Seacoast (29) and New Jersey Rockets (44), while PAL Jr. Islanders (48) continued to climb.


13U — Three THF Teams Ranked

New Jersey Rockets reached No. 7, followed by Seacoast Performance Academy (22) and Woodbridge Wolfpack (45).

12U — Six Teams in the Top 50

Woodbridge Wolfpack earned another high placement at No. 8. Also ranked were PAL Jr. Islanders (27), Team Maryland (30), Westchester Express (39), Utica Jr. Comets (46) and Mercer Chiefs (47).

11U — Five Programs Featured

Four THF organizations landed inside the Top 50, led by Woodbridge Wolfpack (18), along with PAL Jr. Islanders (27), Chicago Phantoms (30), Philadelphia Revolution (39) and New Jersey Rockets (48).

These rankings reflect the strength of competition across the THF and the commitment of players, coaches, and organizations to development at every level.
