Tier 1 Hockey Federation is partnering with The Prospect Exchange (TPE) for the 2022-23 season. TPE is a platform for players and coaches to connect and view individual game clips and analytics. This platform provides player exposure to Junior and College coaches and assists in advancing a player’s career. 

The Prospect Exchange includes both a player platform and a team platform. The player platform populates a player’s individual video and analytics into a Player dashboard. From there, a player can view and share their results with coaches using the built-in communication tools.

The team platform uses artificial intelligence and computer vision algorithms to build extensive data sets that provide objective and accurate insights for youth coaches. The production team breaks down game film around every metric collected which saves coaches extensive amounts of time. 

The Prospect Exchange will gather analytics for the 15U, 16U, and 18U THF Teams. “The world of player exposure and advancement has evolved over the last 5 years with video and analytics making it easier than ever for scouts to watch players. The partnership with TPE was only logical to give our players and coaches the best resources available to assist players gain the necessary exposure to college and junior teams to assist them with their career advancement,” said THF Commissioner, Tony Zasowski.

Tier 1 Hockey Federation is excited for its next guest in the Federation Education Series. This series will feature presentations for our players, families, and coaches on the landscape of hockey along with the Player Advancement Model. The second presentation will feature Craig Barnett, the Executive Director of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA). 

Craig Barnett was a part of the 1987 NCAA championship team as a goaltender at Plattsburgh State University in New York. Barnett continued his career playing professionally for the New York Rangers minor league team before becoming a coach. His 15-year coaching career includes coaching at the NCAA I and II levels. After coaching, he worked within athletic administration and has been the Executive Director of the ACHA since 2018. 

The American Collegiate Hockey Association, founded in 1991, is the National Governing Body for Non-NCAA Collegiate Hockey throughout the United States. With 461 college and university-affiliated teams representing 48 states and 2 Canadian provinces, the ACHA provides a structure, regulates operations, and promotes the sport of Hockey nationwide.

The THF is working with the ACHA to invite all players and their families to an exclusive webinar presentation. The presentation will cover collegiate hockey opportunities in the ACHA.
