Stay-to-Play Policy & Hotel Booking
The Tier 1 Hockey Federation (THF) is committed to delivering a seamless, high-quality experience for all teams, coaches, and families. As part of that commitment, THF operates a Stay-to-Play policy for all showcases and playoffs.
Our Stay-to-Play program is designed first and foremost as a service to our teams and team managers. We understand the challenges that come with coordinating travel, and our goal is to simplify the process while enhancing the overall event experience. Through our trusted hotel partners, we are able to:

- Offer quality, vetted hotel options at competitive, team-friendly rates
- Help teams stay together, building camaraderie and a stronger event environment
- Prioritize convenient locations near rinks and event venues
- Deliver dedicated support for any hotel or travel-related needs
By organizing accommodations in this way, THF creates a more connected and enjoyable experience for players, families, and staff—both on and off the ice.
In addition, the Stay-to-Play model plays an important role in supporting the overall execution and quality of our events.
As is standard practice in the sports tournament industry, our organization receives a commission or "rebate" from the hotels for all rooms booked through our designated provider. This arrangement is crucial for our ability to cover operational costs, and by booking through our system, you help support the events directly.
