The Tier 1 Hockey Federation is proud to announce that Seacoast Performance Academy forward Dominik Bednar has been tendered by the Sioux City Musketeers of the United States Hockey League.

A 2010-born forward in his second season with Seacoast, Bednar has quickly established himself as one of the most dynamic young players in the league. Through 11 THF games this season, he has already recorded 24 points, showcasing a rare combination of speed, skill, and scoring ability that continues to turn heads at the national level.

Earning a tender in the USHL is a significant accomplishment. The United States Hockey League is the top Tier I junior hockey league in the country and is widely regarded as the premier development league for NCAA Division I and NHL prospects. Each season, the USHL produces hundreds of college commitments and NHL draft picks, making any direct connection to the league a major milestone in a player’s development path.

Bednar’s impact has been felt throughout the Seacoast program, where his competitiveness and consistency have set him apart.

“Dominik Bednar is a great kid with strong character. His work ethic sets him apart, and his natural gift for scoring goals makes him a difference maker,” said Seacoast Performance Academy President and 16U Head Coach Kurt Mallet. “Dominik leads by example on and off the ice.”

15U Head Coach Anthony Matarazzo echoed that praise.

“He has a natural goal scorer’s touch that truly makes an impact. Seacoast has produced many strong goal scorers over the years, and he will undoubtedly add his name to that list. There are very few games in which he does not contribute, whether through points on the scoresheet or with his physical play. He is one of the most competitive players I have ever coached.”

Bednar’s tender to Sioux City reflects both his individual talent and the strong developmental environment provided by Seacoast Performance Academy and the THF. His success continues the league’s tradition of helping elite players advance to the highest levels of junior and college hockey.

The THF congratulates Dominik and the entire Seacoast Performance Academy organization on this outstanding achievement and looks forward to following his continued growth on the national stage.

The Tier 1 Hockey Federation is proud to support the advancement of its players at every level of the game and is always excited to share the next steps in their hockey journeys.
