The Tier 1 Girls Hockey Federation is back — and Season Two isn’t wasting any time getting competitive.
The 2026-27 TGHF season officially gets underway this weekend, with the league’s first Game of the Month putting the spotlight on a 14U matchup between the Princeton Tiger Lilies (PTL) and New Jersey Bandits.
The Bandits will host PTL at Ice Vault Arena, with puck drop set for 11:45 AM.
It’s a fitting way to open a new season for a league that continues to grow. After launching its inaugural season in 2025-26, the TGHF enters Year Two with more hockey ahead, more opportunities for its players, and another season built around high-level competition and development.
And there’s no easing into it.
The first Game of the Month brings two programs together with an early opportunity to set the tone. With a full season still ahead, every shift is a chance to compete, develop, and start building toward what comes next.
For the TGHF, this weekend represents more than the first puck drop of 2026-27. It marks the beginning of the league’s next chapter.
