The Tier 1 Hockey Federation is kicking off November in a big way! With the Connecticut Showcase bringing together teams from the 9U through 12U divisions, a featured 15U Game of the Week, and exciting matchups across the league, November 6–8 promises another action-packed weekend of THF hockey.
Connecticut Showcase: Three Days, Four Divisions, Plenty of Hockey
November 6–8 | Connecticut | 9U–12U
The spotlight shifts to Connecticut this weekend as the THF hosts its November Connecticut Showcase, bringing together teams across four age divisions for three days of competitive hockey.
Games will take place at four facilities throughout the state: Bolton Ice Palace, Champions Skating Center, Enfield Twin Rinks, and Milford Ice Pavilion.
The showcase gives participating teams an opportunity to face a variety of opponents, gain valuable experience, and measure their progress against strong competition. With multiple games packed into a single weekend, consistency, depth, and the ability to make adjustments will be essential.
For the 9U and 10U divisions, the weekend offers another chance for young players to develop their skills and build chemistry. At 11U and 12U, teams will look to establish their identity as the competition continues to intensify.
With four divisions competing across four venues, Connecticut will be one of the busiest destinations in the THF this weekend!
Game of the Week: Jersey Hitmen vs. Mercer Chiefs
Saturday, November 7 | 1:15 PM | 15U | Ice Land
While the younger divisions take center stage in Connecticut, the THF Game of the Week spotlight heads to Ice Land on Saturday afternoon for a 15U matchup between the Jersey Hitmen and Mercer Chiefs.
Both programs have an opportunity to make a statement as the November schedule gets underway. With the Hitmen hitting the road and the Chiefs defending home ice, this matchup will be an important test for two familiar THF opponents.
Expect a competitive battle as both sides look to control the pace, create scoring opportunities, and put together a complete performance. In a matchup like this, special teams, defensive discipline, and goaltending could make all the difference.
Puck drop is scheduled for 1:15 PM, and fans can catch the featured matchup live on Black Bear TV!
