The THF announces the Players of the Week for the week ending October 31, 2022. The Players of the Week is a weekly feature during the 2022-23 season that honors players in all divisions. Only players that are nominated by their respective teams are considered.

“Justin elevated his game at the Exposure Cup Showcase against some of the top teams. He was a constant threat and put himself in great positions to have success,” said Coach Mark Rivera.

“Brendan was force on Saturday with 3 goals and 3 assists on Saturday to propel the Jr Islanders to 2 wins!” said Coach David Ehrlich.

“The work ethic and dedication to playing the “stars way” is shown in every shift by Caden Biddle. Although this play doesn’t always reflect on scoreboard, the effort not shown is imperative to success. Team first mentality on every shift. Caden is a workhorse and should be recognized as such,” said Coach Nate Nehnevajsa.

“Chase is a gritty player that uses his body well to protect the puck and create solid scoring opportunities. His play was a big part of our 3 W’s as he contributed 3 goals and 3 assists,” said Coach Julie Lenz.

“Ryan scored our only goal in regulation and GWG in the shootout to seal a 2-1 win over Mercer on Sunday. He played great defensively and was very effective on breakouts and in transition during both wins this weekend,” said Coach Mike Donnellan.

“Underaged Matt Shpungin had an elite weekend at the Beantown classic scoring 3 goals and 3 assists for 6pts in 3 games. Matt has been solid all year tallying a 14-18-32 line in 33 games contributing to both sides of the puck with a +8 +\-,” said Coach Anthony Yelovich.
