The THF announces the Players of the Week for the week ending October 23, 2022. The Players of the Week is a weekly feature during the 2022-23 season that honors players in all divisions. Only players that are nominated by their respective teams are considered.

“Elias showed up in a big way this weekend against great competition, registering 5 points in 2 games. Though he was rewarded on the scoresheet for his efforts, his greatest contribution was still his upbeat attitude and team mentality on the bench and in the dressing room,” said Coach Daniel Sabato.

Player: Tomasina Cinquino (F) – Games: 4, Goals: 1, Assists: 8
“Tomasina’s speed, play-making ability and two-way energy fueled the Hitmen to a 4-0 weekend. Her vision and passing ability drove the team’s offense all weekend, as she set up multiple tap-in goals for her teammates,” said Coach Pat Verney.

“Two of his most complete games of the season, played both sides of the puck and scored timely goals,” said Coach.

“Diminni was a big reason the Hitmen went 2-0 on the weekend. He made 42 saves on 43 shots for a .977 save percentage,” said Coach Steve Lovell.

Player: Brenden Shaykevich (F) – Games: 3, Goals: 6, Assists: 1
“Brenden scored 6 goals and had 1 assist this weekend in 3 games. Helped the team beat the undefeated Hartford Jr. Wolfpack Elite in league play,” said Coach Jeff Angert.

“Timmy continues week after week to be such a strong offensive force. His hockey IQ is unmatched. He is a strong leader and an incredibly smart player,” said Coach Julie Lenz.

“Cam had both shootout goals to win it in the shootout v the NJ Rockets 15U Premiere. He also scored and assisted in game v NJ Jets,” said Coach Andrew Frey.
